Hello, Tee...
Pain from ovulation, at least for me, lasts a couple of days. Pain
lasting a week or two prior to your period may signal Endometriosis.
There is a lot of information in the archives of the WHF as well as
going over to the Endometriosis Pavillion on OBGYN.net.
The ONLY way to diagnose Endo is via laparoscopy, a surgical procedure.
A Dr. can examine you, and if skilled enough may be able to tell if
there are implants, however, this is not a sure thing.
I do not know where you are located, but if you post back with your
state, I may be able to point you to an Endometriosis Specialist that
may be able to help you determine what may be going on.
