An FSH of 24 definately indicates diminished ovarian reserve (nearing menopause). If you want to have another FSH level drawn you should wait about 2 weeks or so after you stop taking the pill so there is no effect from the exogenous estrogen. However, even if you are in menopause you would still be getting withdrawl bleeds from the pill. I have also read that it is common for women who have been on the pill a long time to not get their periods due to endometrial atrophy (understimulation). I hope this helps.
