CHRONICPAIN: Complex cyst and ovary removal - should i be worried?From: josie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 30 Mar 2007 12:54:06 -0500 (CDT)
I was just told that my latest sonogram shows that my left ovary cyst is complex. up until now, through 2 ultrasounds and 1 MRI, i was told it was a simple cyst. We are scheduling surgery to remove the ovary. Can anyone give me any information about this? Do cysts change like this? Is this a more worrisome type of cyst? I have had severe pelvic pain (not near the ovary, but low by my cervix with tons of pressure) for about three months...I posted on Wednesday about other symptoms like bloating. I just started having periods again after not much going on for four years due to Mirena. they are awful...any info about complex cysts will be so appreciated. Thank you!
