You do not tell us if you are on any kind of birth control, as that could have an effect. Since your last exam (and pap?) was normal, I would say you are probably right about the 'trauma' as the cause and you should see this improve with time. Be watchful for any signs of a vaginal infection as this could also be heralded by post coital bleeding...Dr. von Almen
