Highly doubtful, your uterus has more purpose than simply to act as the growing space for a baby. It helps support your intestines, etc.

Removal of an organ is major surgery and usually not elective.

I've heard about some new "non-surgical permanent methods of birth control" and there's supposed to be a BC pill released that is supposed to make it so you don't have your periods. I can't remember the names of them though but maybe somebody else who posts here will know.
