Put up with it for 9 years because the docs all said this was how periods should be. Enough was enough and finally I went back to the doc and complained I had had enough. He put me on Utovlan tablets and these took away the pain and slowed the bleeding down. Why after all this time he couldn't have done this sooner fails me. Go see your doc and tell him/her you can't go on like it.
