Re: bacterial vaginosis curing with Monistat?

Some women with PCOS also have endometriosis, which is only confirmed by a laparoscopy. With endometriosis the frequency of yeast infections is often high, like you describe.

Yeast can be treated with Monistat. Bacterial infections are not. See your doctor to confirm whether it is yeast or bacterial vaginosis. One point to note, often the treatment for BV brings on a yeast infection after the BV med is finished. Then Monistat would be fine. There is some belief that the 7-day treatment is best but there are stronger dose 1-day and 3-day formulas.

If your triglycerides are normal and the amount of sugar intake is not extreme, diet should not be the major issue at this point. Although, decreasing refined foods and sugars (anything processed and prepacked...pastries, cookies, cakes, etc.) can help.
