5 months postpartum menstural question?? I got my first postpartum period at about 3 1/2 months postpartum, it was very moderate and lasted about a week. Then about 2 weeks later it came again and lasted about 3 1/2 weeks, then a two week break, and now Saturday I have started once again. Since my first period it has gotten heavier and will slow and get heavy again. I am also passing clots about quarter sized. I am not one any type of birth control as I have hypertension. (I plan on returning to birth control in Novemeber when I go back to get my pap) My question is, should I be concerned about this, or do you think that this is my body just getting back into routine.
