A couple of days ago I started wearing them again after a 10 month break. The morning after I wore them for the first time, I noticed a slight greenish discharge from my eyes along with general redness. There is some dryness and slight irritation also. Every morning since then it has gotten steadily worse. This has been going on for 3 days. I am on birth control, Ortho-TriCyclen, which I was not on the last time I wore contacts. I've been on it for about a month and a half. My question is, could the sudden use of contact lenses with the birth control cause this sudden discharge? And if not, any ideas on what it causing the discharge? My boyfriend got over conjunctivitis about a week ago so I don't believe I'm just getting it now.
