Re: abnormality?

I recently had a colp and LEEP following a PAP which indicated CGIN. During the examination the doctor mentioned the endometrium protruded slightly through the cervix and I could see on the screen that the surface was not smooth. I didnt question her at the time and am now concerned, what could be the significance of this. She has also booked me in for an ultra-sound scan... is this a usual course of action as the instinct is to conclude that there is something wrong. Also if the biopsy comes back abnormal and without a clear margin what is the normal follow up treatment and does all this affect my future ability to have a child.
