Pill broke when pushed out of package!

Hi, here's a question that i bet you haven't heard before :)

I'm currently on Ortho-Tri Cyclen, and tonight was when I was scheduled to take pill #14 in the pack (the last of the light blue pills). When I tried to push the pill out of the blister pack it was in, the pill actually got stuck somewhat sideways! I jiggled it a little until the pill came out, but when it did I noticed that a chunk of the pill had been broken off--there was a light blue powder inside the little blister, as well as on two of my fingers.

Not knowing what to do, I took what was left of the pill and tried my best to lick up the powder in the pack and on my fingers. Now, I'm not sure if the pill will be "valid" because of the break.

To complicate matters, my Gyn had told me to begin Ortho Tri Cyclen LO (I'm currently taking the "regular" Ortho Tri Cyclen)at the start of my next pill cycle. Since this is a lower strength pill, I'm not sure if it would be a good idea to "steal" one from my OTC lo sample pack and then go back to the "regular" strength for the next pill.

I'm really not sure what to do here. Any ideas?
