Bridget - I have the same "problem" of the ejaculate coming back out. I understand it's normal and lots of people experience this. I always put a towel or dirty clothes down in the bed to catch it when I'm done - but it definitely sucks. As far as the patch goes, I think you can start it near when you're due for your next shot. I would try to find depo provera's website, as I'm sure they address this issue. Or try searching the archives for "depo" and "switching to pill". Or just call your doctor and ask.
