spottingFrom: Jaime (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 21 Sep 2003 10:21:58 -0500 (CDT)
I'm 30 years old and have a 19 month old child. I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks in 2000. I am casually trying to conceive and last month and this month I noticed a little spotting around ovulation. I read that some women have this, but I have not had it before. It was brownish but this morning (after having intercourse last night) it was pinkish/red. I had my last pap smear (normal) in June 2002 and am not able to see my doctor for another 3 months (I moved and had to switch doctors). Is this something I should go to an urgent care clinic for? I am not in any pain, but am a little worried. I don't know if this matters but I haven't noticed as much cervical fluid as usual the past couple of months either. PS I did search and found many posts on spotting, but they were related to birth control pills or occured in older women.
