abnormal menstrual bleedingFrom: chrysalynea (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 20 Sep 2003 16:51:18 -0500 (CDT)
I was wondering if anyone could help me figure this out. I am an averagly active person who gets about 6 hours of sleep per night, and I think of myself as normally healty. The only thing that makes me somewhat different that most women is that I am infertile. I have noticed the past 4 months that my "flow" during my cycle has changed a bit. I've always had a rather heavy flow but recently I have been having MUCH more severe cramping (especially before) on the first day. Also I have noticed what I can best describe as some sort of fleshy looking tissue in the fliud. It actually rememings me of the pictures of muscle tissue found in high school textbooks. Solid, pink, and with fibers. These are not clots. Also it seems as if I can never get enough sleep. I am 20 years old and my 56 year old mother in law has more energy than I do. If anyone can help identify what these strange "chunks" (if you will) are and if they are not normal I would greatly appriciate it.
