I am 41 years old and have fibrocystic breasts. I had a mammo and sonogram which showed a large fluid filled cyst in my left breast. My doc aspirated it and on the first attempt drew a small amount of bright red blood. On the third try after moving the needle and getting a bigger on e she got fluid..alot which was a clear yellow color.I was very concerned about tyhe blood..thinking blood could mean cancer. She said she thought she just broke a small blood vessel while trying to aspirate...and that the fluid looked normal. Shje sent the fluid and the blood out to be tested. Could the blood been from a vessel? Should I be concerned? Thanks Alice
