Re: birth control and early

It seems to me that it would be just as quick for the doctors to write a short response then to write "this is in our archives"! No, it shouldn't be a sign of pregnancy. It probably means that this pill isn't the best one for you. All pills protect against pregnancy, but the challenge is finding one that matches your own body's hormones. I was on Alesse for a while and was getting my period a week early and switched to a higher dose (Lo/Ovral) and now my period is fine. Talk to your doctor about possibly getting a higher dose. However, it usually takes 3 months for your cycles to regulate on the pill, so if this is your first time on the pill then I'd give it another month before you talk to your doctor. But as long as you've taken the pill correctly at the same time, you shouldn't be pregnant. Hope this helps!
