Appearance of endo/cysts on the ovaries...For Dr's and everyone :)From: Olivia (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 30 Aug 2003 16:26:54 -0500 (CDT)
Hi everyone, I asked this question over at the endo forum...but nobody replied...so I thought I would swing on over here and ask the doctors and y'all. I had a laparoscopy on the 19th for known endometriosis. The doctor talked to my husband after the surgery and told him that he removed multiple ovarian cysts and endometrial implants..(although it wasn't specified were the endo was removed from. (This was my 3rd lap by the way). Anyways..the doctor gave my husband pictures of my ovaries..and circled all the things that he removed. The spots(circled) appear to be bluish/grayish in color. Could someone tell me...are these endometrial implants or cysts..or both? My post-op appt. isnt' for over another week and I'm unfortunately, not a very patient,"patient". Thanks for your help.
