Have they evaluated your hormones? That would be a good first step. If you've already tried that, how about a progestin IUD? We have one called Mirena in the U.S.; I don't know if it's available in Canada. The progestin that is released usually cuts down on bleeding with periods and sometimes eliminates all bleeding after a while. Have you considered endometrial ablation? A lot of women have that done after hormonal treatments have failed to stop bleeding.
