My periods for the past two years have been about two weeks long with spotting.I had bloodwork and an ultrasound done and the bloodwork was normal but the ultrasound showed cysts all over my overies. the doctor said in order to get rid of the cysts and get a normal period back, she was going to try putting me on Ovcon 50 for 3 months.How is this going to get rid of those cysts, and what causes those in the first place?Also, could the cysts have been caused by the pill?because i didnt have the abnormal period until i started on the pill.
