Hormone imbalance and Hypo-thyroid also cause hair loss. I too, am constantly pulling out my hair and clogging the drain every time I wash my hair. If it continues or really bothers you consult your physician and ask for some blood tests to rule out everything. If it's not heriditary then there's gotta be something going on. I have heard that losing 100 strands of hair a day is normal, but I know I lose WAY more than that and from the sounds of it so do you.
