You are completely right. I am kicking myself now. I should have taken the break last week, but I have been having lots of problems with breakthrough bleeding for the past 9 months, and haven't been for the past 3 weeks, so I didn't want to ruin a good thing. For me, to have three weeks in a row without breakthrough bleeding was a huge deal. I was hoping to just keep taking active pills until AFTER the vacation, but my body had other plans, and it is forcing me to have a period now. I am thinking of just taking 5 placebos, and I have checked the archives, I don't know if it will help. Hopefully, a doctor will write back and show some insight!
