Dear Ishanie, there is not a standardized rate for regular gynexam: it depends on a series of factors including: number of partners, sexual activity, number of previous pregnancies, risk factors, etc. About birth control too, the choice should be made taking into account the need for a future pregnancy, the number of previous pregnancies, the presence of absence of risk factors (mainly when treating using oral contraception), etc. Best wishes,
