I have had many many abnormal paps due to dysplasia and for several years I just had to keep going back every 3 months for a new pap just to watch it. Eventually, I had my cervix frozen and I've not had an abnormal pap since then. It can be done in the doctor's office and there's just a slight amount of discomfort, but all in all it was a cinch. Now, I only go back for a pap 1 a year. Good luck.
