I am in my 4th year of Norplant. I am 27 and became sexually active 3 months ago. I have had 3 children, but since I started having sex with my boyfriend, I have been spotting constantly. I have no pain except when I am on my period.I have a history of gardenorella with pregnancy, but I haven't had that problem otherwise. I can't go to the OBGyn because I don't have any medical insurance, and I can't find anyone to remove the Norplant. (I suspect this is the cause)But it is very annoying to start bleeding everytime we have sex, otherwise it is just brownish discharge. I am very frustrated!!!! We don't have rough sex and sex is not uncomfortable. Please help. I also recieved one of those letters when I got the Norplant saying to use back up because it was one of the lots that had problems (after Oct. 1999) if that helps. No, I haven't been using backup either. I have not had a problem previously when I had sex so I don't think there is a possibility of pregnancy. Thank you!!!
