22 year olds periods suddenly stopped

I'm a 22 year old female who's periods suddenly stopped ten months ago. They started when I was twelve and I had them regularly every month until November last year (ten months ago). I saw the practice nurse at my GPs surgery after four months and a blood test was taken. The results came back completely normal and I was told not to worry about it - it was just one of those things. But unfortunately I am worried about it! Why have my periods stopped so suddenly? I am not pregnant, taking contraceptives or breast feeding or anything like that. I'm not under weight (120lb, 5'4", dress size UK 10/12) nor do I have any "other" symptoms, no hot flushes etc.

Any ideas what's going on!?!
