I am 33 and have 2 children (c/s). I have had many cultures. Only 1 was positive for yeast (over a month ago). Last 3 cultures have been negative. The swelling that I have is apparently imperceptible to my dr, but I KNOW what it is normally like. My gyn said that my ph was "off" and prescribed boric acid suppositories 3 X wk for 6 wks. I have taken it for 2 wks and still no improvement. I saw another gyn this week who basically dismissed me. It is not painful to touch, just burns. There is no redness or skin tears. I feel comforted after cold compresses are applied. I have changed soap and detergents. I need help. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. I am losing it!!!
