Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: Mole" I have been taking birth control pills for 5 years nowEstrostep) Last week I came down with strep throat. It was also the last week of my pills in my pack. That Wed, my doctor put me on Bactrim for my Strep throat and bladder infection. That Friday of the same week, I had protected sex with my boyfriend. It has been almost a week and I have not yet recieved my period. I took a pregnancy test the week I was suppose to get my period, but it came back negative. Could I be pregnant???
