2cm ovarian cyst.........I am worriedFrom: cindy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 2 Aug 2003 21:01:17 -0500 (CDT)
is this anything to worry about? I am 42,hx.of endometriosis.Lasy year ultrasound showed 2cm cyst on lt. ovary.Tech.report said with septation, radiologist just said "small bilateral ovarian cyst". I worried myself sick over it,saw 2 different docs,4 times, within less than a year, they both kept saying "your ovaries feel fine, don't worry about it,it is normal".Recently relocated out of state, still CANNOT quit thinking about it.I saw a new dr. Thursday,he did exam and said "you feel perfectly normal, but will do ultrasound just to make you feel better".Him and the tech both looked at it and agreed I had a 2cm.cyst in lt.ovary, but said it was"follicular". he said it was days 13 of cycle,so it was normal, see you next year! I have no family hx.of ovarian cancer, but I am terrified of it.If it were malignant last year,I would be much worse now right,if this were the "same cyst" they saw in may 2002.please don't laugh,I am just worried.Thank you so much.
