YEAST INFECTION DELAYS PERIOD??

I am 30 yrs old and have regular 27 day menstrual cycles and never missed a cycle. Due to antibiotics, I now have a yeast infection and am on the last day of the 3 day monistat treatment. I was suppose to get my period yesterday but haven't. However, over the last 2 days, there has been very light blood on my pad and toilet paper when i wipe and I checked using a Qtip and the inner lining is bloody, though there is no flow. Is my period delayed because the ovul pill is serving as a plug and no blood is flowing? If I am on my period, why am I not bleeding as usual? If I am not on my period then why am I bleeding? I have no other symptoms except a few weeks ago was having painful gas that was causing a sharp pain around my belly button. The pain is no longer there.
