When the colonoscopy is done, there is no way to get in contact with the bladder.

I have a bladder and yeast infection-and a colonoscopy scheduled for Monday morning. I've been taking an antibiotic for the bladder infection-which of course, caused the yeast infection. I'm wondering now if it wouldn't be safer to have the colonoscopy done after the infections are cleared. What could or would be the ramifications if he should happen to nick my bladder or some other part? Or, if and when he takes a biopsy of a polyp, should he find one, that is. Could the infections spread?

I started taking 500 mg. of Cipro once a day, four days ago. Please advise.

Thanks, Elisabeth
