Please...MD opinionFrom: RP (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 1 Aug 2003 18:57:25 -0500 (CDT)
46 year old woman ...6 months post- menopausal. Taking no HRT... Feel great. My only complaint is weight gain of 12-15 pds within the last 12 months. Hx of endometriosis/adhesions 4 weeks ago...had abnormal bleeding. Staining for 2-3 days. That has been the only time I saw any type of bleeding. Went to GYN...he did TVS..says uterine lining is 6.5mm... He wants to do a hystersongram to detemine is there is anything abnormal with lining.... Is this what you would do for your pt? What is considered within normal limits of the lining for a menopausal woman? My doc took bloodwork for hormonal testing and checking also thyroid levels. Thankyou in advance RP
