Hi! I am 31 yrs. old and have had two successful pregnancies (ages 4 & 6). About 3 years ago I was diagnosed with fibrocystic breasts. It doesn't really bother me enough to quit drinking cokes or eating chocolate, so I live with it. Last month my period was about 3 days late and was so light that I really didn't need to use anything, and it lasted about 9 days (more or less just spotting). Five days is a normal period length for me. Normally I can tell as soon as I ovulate because my breasts become sore and stay that way until the day my period starts and it magically disappears. This month I was 2 days early (started last Thur.) Again it is fairly light. This is my 8th day and this time when I started, my breast pain didn't go away. This has never happened before. Does this sound like anything I should be concerned about. I don't have problems very often and am normally 27-29 days with the first day pretty heavy and getting lighter and stopping on the 5th day. I have a routine exam scheduled for Oct. Are my hormones just out of whack, or should I give my doc. a call? Thank you for your opinion.
