I've been on the pill since I was 16. The only time I went off of it (for 10 months) I never got my period. I recently went off the pill again and I was getting my period every other month. I started what looked like the onset of my period (brownish/red spotting or discharge) on July 15. After about 5 days of that I got my actual period for 5 days. It is now July 30 and after my period ended it went back to the spotting - more like black discharge. What is this about? Is there anything I can take or do so I don't have to always wear a pantyliner? I see the GYN annually.
