I have similar problems. Pain and low grade fever a couple days every
month. Recently the pain got so bad I had to go to the ER. They found
an endometrioma. I do not fit the normal endo description, as my
periods are not that bad and the pain I get is usually a week before my
period. But the doctor thinks endo is the culprit. Endo usually does
not show up on ultrasound, unless it is an endometrioma like I have -
you need a laparoscopy to definitively diagnose it. You could ask your
doctor about having one done. Or you could try going on a birth control
pill to see if that stops the pain. It should help if endo is the
problem. Good luck.
