lactation and pelvic floor musclesFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netWed, 30 Jul 2003 19:07:24 -0500 (CDT)
I'm 41 and have had one miscarriage 15 years ago. No babies. My boyfriend has stimulated my breasts enough to make them lactate. This has been going on for 3years.I have been to the Dr. when this first happened because I thought there was sething wrong with me and she told me that I was lactating. I recently stopped this and would like info on why I started and why I stopped. My boyfriend and I broke up for a short time and now it doesn't happen anymore and he thinks its psycological. Also, my pelvic floor muscles seemed to have weakened. Does this happen because of my age? Is there anything I can do beside kegels to tighten this area and please give me any info you have on the lactation. I still have a healthy libido and desperately want to know if there's something else I can do or is it because of my age?
