20, no children.I have been on the pill for about 4 years now. I have been takeing Ortho Tri cyclen... well at the begining of this year i went off my moms insurence and my supply of pills just ran out this last month. Well i called my gyno for samples of Ortho Tri Cyclen but they didnt have any of that buy she gave me the new kind the Ortho tri Cyclen Lo ... well i started that one at the begining of last month , it has the lower level of hormones in the last run of pills. Well my perionds when i was on Ortho Tri Cyclen lasted from 5 to 6 days and the started off light and was heavy for about 3 days and then taperd off.. Well my period this month lasted only 3 1/2 days and was only heavy for about a 1 1/2 days then went to modorete and now i am just spotting.... Well my question is could it be the hormone change in the 2 different pills affecting me this way? Could this one be working better with the lower hormones? I only has sex 1 time last month and me and my boyfriend use condoms on top of the pill... I dont have the funds to go to the doctor right now but any feedback would be greatly appreciated...Thank you So much.
