Painless 'bumps' in groin

Hi there,

I'm not sure if I'm just being a hypochondriac here, but I have hard little lumps/knots under the skin in my groin crease, near the top and towards the hips. They're completely painless and hard and they're in exactly the same spot on both sides. They feel more like knots than lumps, and they're not visible through my clothes nor do they stick up through my skin or anything--I have to press on the area to feel them. I feel like they've been there forever, but I might be imagining that, and I had myself convinced that they're some muscle or ligament thing or something. Do they sound like lymph nodes or something else? I have really sensitive skin and shave my bikini line and get tons of ingrowns and irritation, could that be it? I've had swollen glands a million times before, and these feel completely different. Not tender or raised above the skin or anything. I just don't know if everyone has them or if I should be worried. Thanks!

-Tara
