Vulva/vaginal swelling/shrinkage

I am 27yrs old & have never been pregnant. I recently(2wks ago)had sex(twice) for the 1st time in 4yrs. Within 2 days after sex, I got my normal period. Within this 2wks time, I douched twice with a store bought, vinegar/water product. I usually only douche about once a yr. Now, I'm noticing there appears to be a lighter pink colored tissue swollen around my vaginal opening, just on the inside. It looks like this tissue has basically swollen my opening almost shut. The interior of my clitoral lips seem slightly swollen & red. Also, the skin on my vulva appears to have shrunk - it is soft & pliable, almost 'loose'. It has shrunken to the point where my clitoris is no longer 'covered' or 'protected' by the vulvar lips. this has been going on for 6 days now. There is no itching, burning, smell, odd discharge, pain, etc.....other than slight irriation from mt clitoris being exposed. I saw a nurse practitioner at a free woman's clinic the day before yesterday. She said that although she saw my concerns, that it looked normal & all was healthy inside. I had a pap done, but it's too soon for results. Should I get another opinion? How long could this swelling last before I should get worried? Could it be an infection? Should I avoid sex and jogging? I'm really scared - I've never looked like this before. Thanks!
