Should my period be disappearing? Over the process of the 2 years my period has gone from 7 days down to 1/2 day (it went from 3 days in March to 1/2 day in June). My obgyn says this is normal and i should be happy my period is so short. she says the pill just makes the linging of my uterus very thin. however, this last cycle i did not have a period at all. over the counter pregnancy tests turned up negative. now i am worried my pills may be causing my period to go away all together. can you shed some light on this for me? is my obgyn correct that the pill is supposed to make my period be only a day or two long, or are the pills i am on doing something irregular to my body! thank you for you help!
