Abdominal PainFrom: Helen (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 29 Jul 2003 10:05:12 +0100
I am 22 and for a few years have suffered from what I think is ovulation pain although I don't get it every month. I hadn't had it for a while and then this month it was quite bad and seemed to affect me on both sides intermittently. The pain was quite sharp sometimes, but the worst was over in about half a day. Also, I get bad cramps during the first couple of days of menstruation. I find that if I orgasm during this time it makes the pain a lot worse, and sometimes if I am due on in a day or two and have an orgasm, I get severe cramping before I've started my period. Is it possible that my bowel also cramps up around the beginning of menstruation, because I find that the pain eases a lot after bowel movement. When I go to the toilet during this time, I feel a bit faint due to the abdominal pain and feel shivery afterwards until I've rested for a bit. Should I be concerned about these issues or is it normal in some women? I would be really grateful for any suggestions you could give me. Thank you :) Totalise - the Users ISP ---------------------- To become a member and a shareholder ---------------------- visit http://www.totalise.net ----------------------
