Debbie, You might want to consider finding a doctor that specialized in endometriosis. Endo can cause a lot of pain and a hysterectomy won't help that unless they take the ovaries and I think the doctors would not want to take out your ovaries at your age. A laparoscopy to remove all of the endo implants may help your pain. You might want to post over on the endometriosis board. Good Luck!
