4 month long Chronic Yeast InfectionFrom: Sarah (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 28 Jul 2003 11:04:21 -0500 (CDT)
I have had a recurring yeast infection for 4 months now. I have been to the doctor countless times and have been diagnosed with a yeast infection. I have taken terazol3 and 7, and countless other creams (some were one day and some were more). I am now being treated for a chronic yeast infection with diflucan every 3 days and boric acid suppositories 3 times a day for 3 weeks. I am mid treatment and feeling worse than ever. The suppositories seem to have made the itching worse. I have changed my diet to exclude alcohol and most sugar even though i do not believe i have diabetes. could my ortho-tricyclen be aggravating the infection? Please help! I don't know what to do.
