D.N., yes, adenomyosis is endo in the uterine tissue. But, I'm really wondering if it spread to her abdominal cavity. Since endo can be microscopic so that it can't be seen to be diagnosed, but still create scar tissue, she could have endo. For the original poster, I saw that you asked if you should contact your regular doctor or an obbyn...I would HIGHLY recommend you contact your obgyn who did your surgery. Good luck!
