Hi,

I am not a doc, but there was a recent study just published that said that Black Cohosh may cause the spread of breast cancer. It could be that estrogen caused your headaches, but going off the Estrace increased the hot flashes. It maybe as time goes on, as your body adjusts to the lower estrogen level, your hot flashes will eventually either go away or at least decrease.

Best wishes, D.N.
