? on grapefruit sized fibroid causing bladder problems

I had an abd. ultrasound and a transvaginal ultrasound done last week and I got my results today and I am confused and scared. Brief history -

I developed menorrhagia when I was 30 and I am 35 now. I had an endometrial ablation in 2000 for it and it is working wonderfully. Two years after my ablation during a routine ultrasound a fibroid the size of a quarter was picked up and my GYN said we will watch it. I had the u/s repeated last week and this is what we found:

The fibroid the size of a quarter - is now the size of a grapefruit and it is located outside of my uterus and it is pressing on my bladder, hence my recent issue w/ unexplained incontinence!

I also have a NEW fibroid located inside the wall of my uterus the size of a prune.

I am to come in for a cervical biopsy as it also showed a cystic lesion in the top area of my cervix - where the pap doesn't reach he said. He wants to be SURE I am not dealing w/a malignancy here. Now, I thought paps were accurate? What if I never had that ultrasound - how would we have even known? Last year it presented as a Nabothian cyst but the u/s radiologist, for some reason, didn't write it as such this year...so maybe this IS indeed a mere Nabothian cyst? I am scared out of my mind this is cancer...

Oh and my uterus went from 7 x 4 in size to 8.3 x 5.

What is the standard treatment for these issues? I am the primary caregiver to my husband who has stage four lung cancer and we have hospice here now...so this is ALL I needed. :o(
