I went on the pill and tried for years to find one with a hormone balance that didn't agrivate them? The results were that my migraines progresaivly got worse. I got to the point where my migraines would last for one to two weeks...it was very disruptive (and they were ten times more painful than before I started the pill). As soon as my boyfiend and I broke up, I went off the pill and will not go back. My doctor didn't mention anything about stroke risks, but the increased migraine pain was enough.
