Hi Marie,

Wow your blood pressure really is low. Mine usually hovers around 95/60. So it's not too low...but on the border. I believe it's considered to be too low when the bottom number drops below 60 (I think). And since yours is 54, that could explain some of the lightheadedness.

I inherited the hypothyroidism and low blood pressure from my grandmother. Everyone else in our family has high blood pressure. If I were you, I'd definitely start on medication for hypothyroidism. You should start to feel better within a few weeks.
