The fertility statistic Dr. N gave you (decline around age 38) is based on women who began their periods at all different ages. I think he gave you the best possible answer based on what information you've provided. The info you've heard (most fertile between 21-27) as been wildly misinterpreted in the media. The difference between someone 21 and say, 31 is not highly significant, but the numbers do start to fall off more rapidly around age 38, as the doctor told you. But that doesn't mean it you won't get pregnant or that it will be very difficult for you. Don't let anyone pressure you !
