My period came at a late age...

To all- Please read original question below...

I understand that I probably will not follow the same patterns as my friends, but was just wondering if my body "thinks" that I am younger since I started my first period at almost 17 years old? As a result of starting my period at such a late age, will this mean that my fertility will decline at a later age? Like I said below, everything else about my body matured late in life.
