2ND entry: Question for all readers and doctors regarding Interstitial cystitis

Hello, I am 26 and have had symptoms of urinary frequency, and vaginal/vulvar/ urethral inflammation for over a month now. The doctor did cystoscopy and hydrodistension on my bladder...he said it looks normal. But it's possible I have interstitial cystitis b/c not ALL patients show hemorrages/ulcers on the bladder, so I am told.

My question is...is there anyone who knows of treatments that are more effective than other? I have heard of patients being completely symptom free after treatment...but I don't know what they were taking/doing. IF anyone has had success with IC symptoms....either with prescribed medicine or herbal/natural supplements or vitamins please let me know. I would appreciate it VERY much. Thanks a lot, nikoo
